For more than nearly three decades, Hawley Construction has completed successful facilities construction projects for Connecticut Colleges and Universities including their local University, Western Connecticut State University.
Since 1994, the firm has completed multiple construction assignments at both the Western Connecticut State University’s Westside Campus and the Downtown Campus. Hawley works closely with WCSU’s own Planning and Engineering staff, and understands the need to be able to schedule construction projects around the demands of the academic calendar.

Hawley has renovated the main entrance at the Downtown Campus, completed a $1.8 million Ella Grasso Dormitory rejuvenation at the Westside Campus, dormitory renovations at Litchfield Hall, Athletic Pavilion at the Westside campus, Higgins Hall Learning Emporium and a new State of the art 4.8 Million Dollar Police Headquarters Facility. Every WCSU project completed by Hawley was done on time and on budget!
Hawley has completed a cafeteria addition project for Middlesex Community College. With it’s state-of-the art design, this cafeteria is the centerpiece of new construction on campus.
Hawley Construction has also completed a new Metrology lab for
Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport and an Advanced Manufacturing Training Center for Naugatuck Community College in Danbury at WCSU,
